I consider my life as a photographer to have found its start back in October 2008 when I bought my first DSLR, the Canon EOS 450D. I bought the camera on an impulse after having fiddled a bit with image post processing using different techniques in Adobe Photoshop.
Looking back now, I think I was very naive in the way I approached the whole photography thing and I remember thinking that the skill ceiling for photography couldn't be all that high. I quickly found out that I knew absolutely nothing about any technicalities, rules or difference in equipment.
However, I always had a thing for creating compositions and I consider myself to be a fast learner of things that interest me. Even before I bought my first DSLR camera, I was already intrigued by the different aspects of aesthetics. Combine this with my need for creation and it's actually a surprise even to myself that I haven't picked up photography at an earlier age.
And so, my journey into the world of photography began. As a photographer I try to be as diverse as possible, but my biggest inspiration is and always will be the nature. For as long as I could remember, I have always loved to just look up at the sky and let my thoughts get carried away. I believe that nature itself can evoke a lot of emotions within an individual and I try to achieve the same emotional impact with my photos.
In a few short years, I have embraced photography as the biggest passion in my life. Through this passion, my work has been recognized by both national and international magazines, websites, photo communities and professional photographers.
In 2012 I started my career as a professional photographer. As the nature of my personality goes, I don't like to restrict myself in doing any specific direction of photography. As a result I do all sorts of commissioned photography such as interior- and exterior photography, wedding photography, event photography, business- and corporate photography, sport photography and portraits.
